US10C Clock Constantly Power-Cycling

Some US10C time clocks may experience continuous power-cycling or restarting loops when both the wired (Ethernet) and Wi-Fi network interfaces are enabled simultaneously. This occurs because the device attempts to maintain two concurrent network connections, which can cause instability in its power or communication handling routines.

⚙️ Resolution

To resolve the issue:

  1. Access the device’s settings menu.

  2. Navigate to the Network Configuration section.

  3. If the device is using a wired (Ethernet) connection:

    • Disable the Wi-Fi interface.

    • Save the configuration.

  4. Reboot the device once after saving changes.

After disabling Wi-Fi, the clock should stabilize and remain powered on without repeated restarts.

💡 Additional Notes

  • If you plan to use Wi-Fi exclusively, disconnect the Ethernet cable and verify that Wi-Fi credentials are correctly configured.

  • Always ensure that only one network interface (either Wi-Fi or LAN) is active at a time.

  • If the issue persists even with Wi-Fi disabled, check for faulty cables, unstable PoE power sources, or firmware updates.
